I know all too well that wedding planning can make your head spin. You go along to wedding fairs and speak to suppliers but it can be difficult to know what you do and don’t need for your big day, and which suppliers are the best to work with.
On this page I’ve pulled together details of some great local wedding suppliers. All of these suppliers are people that I’ve actually worked with, either at a wedding or on styled photo shoots, so I can speak for the quality of their work. While I know and like the suppliers listed here, they are all people that I believe in and none have paid or offered any other compensation to be featured here.
Angela of Mon Bel Amour provided the cake for our bohemian styled photoshoot as featured in Bride Magazine. One of the highlights of that shoot was getting to share the delicious naked wedding cake that she baked.
David of Born to Bloom created a completely stunning arrangement which really captured the vision of lush bohemia for our the Bohemian Dreams photoshoot.
Charlotte creates beautiful and stylish wedding stationery which incorporates multi-colour printing and paper-cut work with colours to tie perfectly in with your wedding’s colour scheme.
Blandford based Exclusively Yours Bridal Boutique is an award-winning supplier of wedding dresses and provided the stunning gown for our collaboration on the Bohemian Dreams Photoshoot which was featured on bride.co.uk
As well as being a really great wedding DJ, Mark of Pegasus Discos offers complete wedding entertainment including fun and games with his Funk Trunk and acting as a master of ceremonies through the day. Add to that he’s also a really lovely guy!
The Defectors are an 8-piece soul and funk band playing crowd pleasing hits from the 1960s onwards. With a full brass section, the Defectors are sure to get your guests up and dancing all night. I can personally speak to the quality of the Defectors, because I was their bass player until earlier this year (so on this one I might be a little more biased). Even though you don’t get me any more you’ll still get a great band that will keep your guests dancing until the very last breath.
